As some of you know, I've recently released a new ebook entitled "The Wizard's Council". I've decided that I will be choosing worthy causes to donate to using a portion of the proceeds from sales. My hope is to not only raise money for these causes, but also raise some awareness about them as well.

Here is a link to the ebook: The Wizard's Council

The first of these worthy causes is the Linton's adoption fund. They are a great couple and I would really love... to help raise a good sum of money for them. This is where you come in! Anyone you know who has a passion for adoption, please invite them to this event.

Here is the rundown of what I will be doing: For the next week, I will be donating a proceed of the sales of my new ebook, "The Wizard's Counci"l, to the Lintons for their adoption fund. The more sales I get, the higher the percentage I will donate per sale. I will be starting at 10%. After a certain number of sales has been reached, I will raise the percentage by 5%. The first milestone is 20 sales, followed by 40, 50, 100, 125, 150, 175, and finally 200. The corresponding percentages are listed below.

                                                      Sales=Percentage
                                                             20=15%
                                                             40=20%
                                                             50=25%
                                                             100=30%
                                                             125=35%
                                                             150=40%
                                                             175=45%
                                                             200=50%

Some quick statistics about adoption. There are over 100,000 children in the US waiting for a family to adopt them. Last year there were under 9,000 children adopted. Now, it is wonderful that 9,000 children were adopted, but there is a significantly larger number of children out there that desperately need a stable home. The worldwide statistics are harder to come by, but it paints an even sadder picture. Adoption is wonderful, but it isn't for everyone. If you know people who are brave enough to consider this route, offer them your support.

You may ask why buy the book when you can give directly to the Linton's adoption fund via their site? Good question, it would be great if you wanted to donate directly to the Lintons (You can donate at www.loveforadoption.com). My hope, however, is that 1. You will enjoy my book and that 2. With more people purchasing the book it will increase the amount of exposure given to the book via Amazon sales ranking. What this does is it gets people with whom I could not reach via Facebook to be contributing to a worthy cause such as the Linton's adoption fund.

If this is not the type of cause that you would normally be in favor of supporting, we will be choosing other causes that you may be interested in, so keep an eye out for that in the future!

Please spread the word to anyone who would be interested in helping this worthy cause!
